Rachael,
Keep on learning!

Cynthia,
Excellent! You will probably want to add the Board of Nursing rules to your notebook.

This is a nursing school licensed by the Florida board of nursing and the Commision for independent education. The school offers three courses, HHA, NA, LPN course. The home health aid is 40 hours. The nurses aide course is 120 hours, and the Pratical nursing program is 1350 hours. The Home health aid after completion of the course the student will receive a completion of the course. The nursing NA student has to take a written test and a lab test via the board of nursing and will be certified. The Pratical Nursing Program has to complete 1350 hours before they are able to write to the Florida board of Nursing for licensure. There are all admission criteria that has to be done before being accepted into each one of these programs. All three of these programs instructors are all Registered nurses who have demonstrated expertise in the field as a registered nurse. The Pratical Nursing program is a progressive pace program that the student has to be self motivated in order to be sucessful in completing the course. The Pratical Nursing program is approximately 1 year. The field of nursing is a enjoyable and awarding field to get into. The CNA and LPN program have preadmission requirements such as GED, High School Diploma, Sucessfully pass a 10 panel drug screen, florida back ground check with law enforcement-level two, immunization proof, and physical-free from communicable disease

My knowledge thus far is intermediate, I have learned a lot on the rules and regulations, tuition amounts etc. but most importantly we talk to and enroll students with an interest in making their future better which is very rewarding to see them reach their potential and or get their foot in the door to reaching
their potential.
