First, I appreciate that time consuming to receive a training through internet has been very awesome cause you take your free time to get trained, save gas, save a lot of important information for yourself which is not stock in a drawer,it is shared with all those are willing to make a good face of their institution working for and I appreciate very much from the botton of my heart and a BIG Congratulation to those who gathered all the information to keep us updated which is our goal to make a better representation and at least try to acomplish all the Agent's requirements. We all shall pray for a wonderul team giving us your support. It has been a great value to what comes next in our own jobs. THANKS.

Rachel,
Sorry to hear about the trees but sometimes paper works well too. An electronic version also has its advantages, especially completing a word search.
Many people are not comfortable with electronic versions and having the paper to show them or give a copy provides a comfort level electronic may not provide.

Life is a learning process. I really love my job and feel the better prepared I am the better I can serve our current and prospective students. Students and parents rely on us to be the guru of of the school. I have just killed a tree printing off these materials but I am going to add them to my Admissions Bible and continue to add to this resource. Thank you for the course. Here's to changing lives in a compliant and honest way.

Ashley,
Excellent advice to follow! Sometimes we get so confident we forget there is always something to learn!

There's a lot more information to know than I thought! I'm glad there are a lot of requirements though, because it means the job has importance and responsibility.

And I definitely think the resource book will be extremely helpful in keeping me reminded of all the rules and regulations. It's easy to forget some when they're not right in front of you or readily accessible.

What are your thoughts and feelings about the Agent's requirements now that you have almost finished this course, compared to when you started?

Donna,
Compliance is key and the resource notebook with best practices and regulations will assist you.

I realize that there are many more rules that we need to adher to in order to perform our job effectively and honorably.

Kevan,
I totally agree. Compliance is the number one outcome.

Although it was important in the beginning, I feel more responsible to represent my school and state in an honorable manner and following all the rules. In addition it is equally important to know the information and having the notebook can only help keep one on task and with the proper information. It is the bible for your success.

I feel I have a better understanding of what a Agent's knowledge should be regarding this institution

Martin,
Having your admissions personnel complete the training and agents licensed is a sure way to the road of compliance.

I knew that we used agents at our campus however I did not know the scope of all the regulatory compliance for which they had to maintain. Now that I do know I am that much more confident that what they do is always in the best interest of the student.

Jefferson,
It is always best to keep it simple. I find that many people do not understand the difference between accreditation and state licensure. Having the client repeating it back to you will also assist you in developing a clear understanding.

This is often an issue when dealing with students who have a language barrier or come from an area that has a high non high school grad rate. They are often unsure of what was said so you need to ensure you expalin it thourghly and as simply as possible. My rule of thumb is to use wording that a middle schooler would know and understand.

I think that I still have a lot to learn in order to be a more effective agent for the school and prospective student.

James,
Service is top priority, along with full disclosure! It is important not to mislead and answer all your prospective student's questions or direct them to the right person.

It is essential to stay on top of the current statistics, policies and regulations of the instituition you are employed by. You must,to in-turn deliver to prospective students and their buying committee the very best service.

Janet,
Thank you for your feedback. Good luck in your endeavors.

I feel very confident in my current knowledge and am grateful for this course as I am now well-rounded in my role. There is a lot of valuable information to learn here. Thanks!
