I have found the Resource Notebook to be very valuable. I use it on a daily basis. I include things like the school catalog, policies and proceedures, important memos, updates regarding programs, etc.

I have printed all of the rules and regulations so far in the course to add to my resource notebook. In there as well I have information about all of the programs that my school offers. Job aids, interviews Ive done with directors and chairs of the school, observations of other reps, the interview script and phone script.

I have placed copies of our policies, student handbook and all training manuals. These become a great tool if I ever have questions about what is acceptable activity and what is not.

I have placed several important pieces of information into my resource notebook. Some of this information includes: a copy of my Institutions course catalog, Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools regulatory rules and laws,my states regulatory laws and rules, and a copy of our enrollment agreement. I have discovered that my institution must abide by the rules and regulations of not only Indiana state but also Ohio state and several other states in order to continue a best practice policy.

I am just begining to put my notebook together but so far have added catalogs listing the programs and course schedules.

I just began putting together my resource notebook....so far I have the catalogs for each campus of my schools, the catalog addendums, student and consumer disclosures, program offering sheets and information sheets for parents. I think that is a good start.

The Resource Notebook is and will continue to be a valuable resource for Ohio rules and regulations along with University specific information and examples. One specific thing I learned is that an agent permit in Ohio needs to be renewed on an annual basis.

One thing that has been really helpful for me is having an outline of each course we offer in my notebook.

The different programatic certification requirements required by the State.

So far I have placed Definitions and Explanations from Chapter 3332.
I have prtined off the information that was to be placed in the Resource notebook so far.

I have learned that Out-of-state schools that recruit students in Ohio are not exempt from the agent training requirements.

I enjoyed putting together my resource notebook. I decided to put together my resource notebook, while I was completing the training course. Since I completed the training in the office, I found it very easy to do. In my resource manual I have the Ohio State Board of Career amd Schools requirements
my school catalog, specific course information from all departments, disclosure agreements, enrollment agreements. My resource manual has helped me stay organized and resourceful.

My resource notebook is filled with the Ohio Statutes and the forms necessary to get my permit. I've learned quite a bit about Harrison College in terms of what we must abide by, such as, the online admissions reps cannot give out student information to parents once they are enrolled.

The Resource Notebook includes rules and regulations governed by the Ohio Board of Career Colleges and schools, as well as a copy of the enrollment agreement, school catalog, consumer information, gainful employment and ACICS regulations.

I have my materials from my school's training program, including appointment set guides, our 10 step interview process guides, referral calling guides, and the leads I have been assigned so far. Additionally, I have all the curriculum sheets that outline the coursework the student will be required to complete for the program in which they will enroll, along with campus resources such as phone numbers, extensions, and start/graduation date forms. I also have our FAQ's that overview all the compliance issues that the school wants us to be sure to know.

So far, I had already had this notebook together since our school began my training, and have added things a long the way. Since enrolling in this course, I've learned that Financial Aid requires that we call them with a students information such as SSN, DOB, etc, while the student is filling out paperwork, so they can be prepared to do an overview with the student as soon as we are done in the Admissions Department.

I have included the laws, rules, or statues, and forms that were listed in the previous training modules. These included: Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools Law and Rules Re: Agents, and Ohio Laws and Rules, Ohio Revised Code Title [33] XXXIII Education. I divided them with page dividers and carefully labelled each section. Now, it will be easy for me to find exactly what I am looknig for. I also included some of the main terms and definitions at the end of my resource notebook.

I have discovered alot that I didnt know about the rules and regulations. For example, it is good to know that "the term counselor or any modification thereof shall not be used by anyone who solicits or enrolls students." Another good thing that I learned was that agent permits must be renewed annually.Of course I could go on and on, but those are a few key take away notes that I had.

I have placed everything that was suggested by the site in my Resource Notebook. There was a lot of financial aid policies that I was unaware of. I really liked that after every passage there was an summary of what I just read. I was able to understand it more after because it was broken down.

My resource notebook is growing. I have printed the modules I have completed so far, and I am gathering the correlating forms from my school, so I can compare and reference them along with the guidelines provided in the course. I think comparing our school catalog and familiarizing myself further with the information the students have access to has been very beneficial. I think the paper work and learning all the forms and making sure everything i do is following the rules and laws set in Ohio. The worksheets have been helpful also in placing information and having a quick reference guide to finding certain info.

Well I just started so my resource notebook only has the institution's different programs, class start dates, tuition, financial aid, organizational charts so far. The only thing that I have discovered thus far is that the institutions' programs differ for each of their four locations. This is only my first week so I'm still learning quite a bit.

The admissions department here at Athena has one resource notebook, and it is a big ring binder. It has every page of this training course. I learned that we need to inform all potential students of our pass rate, our completion rate, and our placement rate.

The Resource Notebook is a vital and reliable resource to keep you up to date with all information and everything going on at your school. I use it everyday talking with prespective students and is a great way to be able to answer important questions for prospective students. We have department meetings quarterly and there is always something to ad to our book! Some of us actually have it in virtual form as well!
