why is it important for Admissions and Financing to have two separate departments. Why do you think the Admissions rep should not handle financing as well as enrollment? Thanks!

Licensing and Accreditation

I was always confused about the importance of license and accreditation. For me, they were seemed to have the same purpose. The only difference that I can make is that the a school must be accredited in order to accept credit from other schools; and licensed in order for the students to be able to take the state exam.

Entrance Test

When exactly in the admission process can we talk about entrance test? Is it after the interview or after the prospectus student fills out the application and brings in all the required documents?

Student services are often as important as the educational programs. Student services prepare students to be successful and provide assistance throughout the student's experience at your institution. Common school services are: Orientation, academic assistance, housing, placement and career services, graduation, and exit interviews.

There are a few ways to use your notebook and keep it up to date. You can wait for your supervisor to give you information. You can also seek out the information from the other staff members. You can ask questions. You must do whatever it takes to be sure you have the most current information plus the forms that you need to complete the admissions process.

Institutions may vary in transfer policies regarding the amount of credit an applicant can transfer. For example, students may be asked to provide transcripts of course credits they wish to transfer.

Educational Programs

Your institution may offer a variety of programs that include combinations of diplomas and degrees or occupational training. It is important to be knowledgeable of each of the program and what they have to offer to students interested in the particualr career path.

The physical facilities that the instituion has available to students must be clearly described for complaince purposes.
