Andrea,
That is correct! Agents operate outside the brick-and-mortar institution. They are able to conduct business on behalf of your school and enroll students.

Jeanlu,

The information must be current and accurate otherwise your notebook has no value. Once you create your notebook it's important to set time aside each month to make sure that the information is current and valid.

Patty Aronoff

Nicole,
The organizational chart is a valuable piece of information to add to your notebook. It tells you who's who and who does what.

Patty Aronoff

Brenda,

Policies and procedures are the lifeblood of our daily work. We must be following the policies and be consistent in our procedures.

Patty Aronoff

Jael,

Program grids is a great addition to your notebook. It provides you the information about the individual program without having to search throughout your material to put it together.

Patty Aronoff

Judy,
It's a great compliance tool for any department in your school. Having a notebook that you build yourself builds the knowledgebase that you need to carry out your duties in compliance.

Patty Aronoff

Brian,

You have the best of both worlds. Having an electronic copy provide you a quick search opportunity. Having a hard copy allows you to write notes and have that mental familiarity with the information in your notebook.
Carmen,

Patty Aronoff

Steve,

Great news! Having all the information in one place and available to you will ensure that you have the information you need when you need it.

The resource notebook is a very important tool for the admission representative of any institution.

The resource notebook will be something that I can use and refernce at any point.

The resource notebook is going to help with the various regulations we have to follow as a state. Florida is extremely restriscted.

The Resource Notebook is definitely the best place to keep all proper documentation, definitions, and rules/regulations together. It helps to keep things up to date in an orderly fashion as well as easily accessed and readily available when needed. One thing I was not aware of in the rules and regulations is that the admissions representatives and agents are similar but different in that agents are allowed to go off campus for recruitment purposes.

Keeping all of the information in one place is critical to the success of an admissions rep. Keeping the notebook updated is also important to make sure that information is current and relevant.

After reading about this course, I have added in my Resource Notebook organization chart which inform us about the faculty and staff and who they report to; I believe this piece of information would be of a great significance. Also the location information for prospective students to look for employments.

The notebook is an excellent resource of the facilities policies and procedures.

Student handbook, policy and procedures, enrollment form, application, fees, program grids, and career services info.

Indeed, I agree the resource notebook is a valuable instrument for admissions. It is a source of information available at your fingertips. All the information is in one location. Thank you.

Dwayne,
We need to be knowledgeable and experienced in the practice of the rules and regulations in the state of Florida. They are there to protect us as schools but also to protect the students as our consumers.

Patty Aronoff

Joann,
Agreed! The resource notebook is an excellent guide to all things for your school. You can modify it to your specifications and share with others.

Patty Aronoff

Dana,

That is awesome! Having all the material in one place is a great resource to have. You are off to great things.
