This info in this course will be a huge help....well on my way. I am so glad to have been able to take this course before starting my job.
Rachel,
That's okay! You will learn the rules for CIE starting with your new position and you will learn about your programs as time evolves.
Patty Aronoff
Scarlett,
By the time you complete a CIE review you will have all your ducks in order. The review is extensive and licensure is important.
Patty Aronoff
James,
Having a small institution has its benefits. We will certainly know every aspect of your institution.
Patty Aronoff
Kristi,
Congratulations on your position! You will be well on your way to excellence by taking the training and establishing your notebook.
Patty Aronoff
Koffi,
Excellent! You have been a founding father of your institution and have vast institutional knowledge. Congratulations!

I haven't started at my new job yet so I am not sure about what else they offer. It's a beauty school so I don't think that they offer much more then the main classes.
If you would have asked me that 2 years ago I would have told you I thougt I new everything...and then we had a change in ownership which really shook things up as far as all the different paperwork that the CIE needed, our accredititing body and the Department of Education! WoW!! Something I wouldn't want to do again...and went from public to private!
since my institution is still small compared to others. I really have to learn everything i can through these modules.
I'm still very new. Just started a few days ago. But they are very good at giving the information I will need to do my job well! So far, I am learning a lot and plan on learning much more and becoming comfortable and knowledegalbe in order to answer any questions applicants throw my way!!
Yes Patty. I am fortunate to be one of the founders of our institution and a key member of the team to develop the educational programs and the courses for each program, the student catalog, the enrollment agreement and more, and the application package which is currently under review by the commission's staff for a provisional license. So, I know everything about the school, and I do intend to keep it that way as we grow, particularly with regard to implementing compliance requirements, abiding to rules and regulation, admission and more. I will enjoy learning all new information coming ahead. Also, although I do believe we did a good job in preparing the application package, this course is preparing me to strengthen this package after the initial review.
Julie,
Very good advice! Accessibility is necessary to provide the information needed.
Patty Aronoff
Chelsea,
Not every institution has an admissions support team, but you are providing a much needed service to campuses. Knowing each individual campus where the culture is different, provides you the much needed information to support the campus in the way they need it.
Patty Aronoff
Neil,
If programs require certification or licensure upon graduation, we are required to specifically notify the student of such and the details of obtaining the credentials. This should be listed in the catalog.
Patty Aronoff
Lauren,
Solid communication is necessary and the ability to get clarification is critical. If we provide incorrect information, we risk misleading the student which is against the law.
Patty Aronoff
Kamala ,
The value of any institution is the education provided and how it enriches the student life.
Patty Aronoff
Steve,
You have institutional knowledge which only comes with time. This is invaluable in school operations. Continue to share this unique wealth of information.
Patty Aronoff
Rene,
Excellent! Keep on learning in order to add more knowledge and skills to perform in your position.
Patty Aronoff
Danelle,
Product knowledge is essential in admissions. We can only serve our students with the best service by having the best knowledge.
