Being new to this business, I can tell you that Compliance is a key factor in this training, everything is surrounded around Compliance. Yes we do have an internal training program for Admissions reps, focusing very much on Compliance

Sounds like the school you are working for believes in doing what is right. Compliance is very important and reps understanding of the rules and regulations is the most important part.

This had made a huge impression on me as a new rep to this school; it lets me know as a new employee how important these type of regluations are for the sake of myself and the school. I think its a great way to allow new reps know the importance of the job you are given.

Yes, my school has internal training so that we are able to be in compliance with whatever agency that requires it of our school. We need to be able to convey to our reps up-to-the-minute changes that affect how we can provide pertinent information to prospective students. A greater portion as to why we have continuing training is due to our desire to remain compliant.

A huge part of the training is focused on compliance with the state/federal/accreditation regulations, which is why this course is included and also having to read the rules thoroughly aside from this course is required for our admissions reps as well. They are also encouraged to refer back to the rules and to remain current on knowing them.

When I first started we meet at corporate and have and instensive training on the job description and requirements

There is internal training for all Admissions personnel through Corporate as well as on campus formal training. A significant portion of that training time is committed to compliance and regulatory guidelines and laws.

I just completed part of my New Hire Training. It was an intense class that covered compliance as well information and policies. There is also a great support system set in place at the college to assist with any questions or issues that arise as I start!

I would have to say about 85% of the traning process is attibuted to solely compliance and making sure that all agents understand the importance of being in compliance with stat federal and accrediation regulations. Being compliant is a vital part of the job of an admissions agent or rep. It is the reps responsiblity to ensure that noting is done or said that is decieving. It is the reps responsibility to ensure student know what they are getting into. All the training prpares us for that. this way no one can say thay they didnt know they. We have been trained on both state federal and accrediation guidelines. Since the information has been set forth and the consequences of not being in compliance put out there individuals know well in advance the implications for not following the guidelines that are in place.

We have a training path which includes these classes as well as a manual to work with. The most valuable resource are my coworkers, training only goes so far.

Compliance is stressed throughout the program and is the basis for all of our rules and procedures.
