I didnt realize the importance of knowing faculty and organization structure. This has caused me to invedtigate placement services and student services more thorouhjly

This was an amazing learning component. I like that it was a requirement. It's better to have a notebook at my finger tips, in the event for some reason the online access would fail. I'm more a "hands-on" person anyway.

Compliance questions/answers. I was unaware that an agent must have seperate permits to represent to seperate schools.

I have added the following items to my resource notebook:
-copy of the agent rules & regulations
-copy of the student catalog and all addenda
-copy of the enrollment agreement
-copy of the program information

I have discovered that it is important to have these items readily at hand to ensure that I am always providing the best information to my students.

Excellent idea Dana! I also recommend bookmarking the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools website here http://www.scr.ohio.gov/.

So far I've placed the laws, rules, statutes and forms in my resource notebook. As a representative of my school I also must be able to answer specific questions regarding my school, so I've placed information regarding specific programs, admissions and career services in my resource notebook as well.

I've learned about the classifications of higher education. A school may not use the term "college" in its name unless the school has been
approved to offer associate or advanced degree programs by the board. Also, a school may not use the term "university" in its name unless the school meets the requirements of revised code section 3332.06

I have printed out all the information I have read in Module 1. All of it will go in my Resource Notebook. I think the most important part of it is the Rule section. I have discovered that the rules are good rules for making sure of honesty in the education industry.

I have included all of the pages of the "Overview and Requirements of Agent Training Program" so far in my Resource Notebook.

From the quiz I learned that only agents and admissions representatives are required to complete agent training. From reading the 1st page from the site I saw training fro instructors and thought they too had to participate in the training program.

I consider myself to be a very detail oriented and organized person and if you were to look at my office you might agree. I have to say, having a notebook with all this pertinent information in one place is a very good idea. The ability to update outdated material is quite easy. Extremely handy!

I have placed information regarding our accredidation, employers who have recently hired our graduates, course catalag and other materials that discuss the programs we have to offer.

The Resource Notebook has helped me tremendously. I am a new to this environment and I take the notebook every where I go. It's great to write little need to know facts and information in the margins. It also comes in handy to pull out whenever I have a question about policies.

I have never received my certificate for the CM 202 course I completed. You are faithful in sending me "blogs". Please send me a copy of the certificate.
Thank you, Nancy Lundwall

Hi John, i just took my first test

Having the notebook nearby is a great idea to keep items easily accessible that I would use every day. Also it’s a great way to make sure I’m doing everything compliant to the rules and regulations that are set. It’s a great resource for definitions that explain the roles of the agent or admissions representative.

I feel the resource notebook will allow me to grow professionally and keep me organized. Being a new agent it's importmant to have structure and order in my day and utilizing this practice is going to help me greatly.

We have resource notebooks that contain information about the progams we offer, compliance issues and other important information about the school

The Resource Notebook is obviously a great way to keep track of new compliance information as well as policies and procedures.

With the growth in online education specifically, these institutions are being more and more scrutinized and regulated. By having a tangible Resource Notebook to refer to, it is much easier to reference and add-to in regards to compliance issues. Adding new, crucial information and removing outdated materials will help all Admissions Representatives and Agents to comply with company procedures and policies.

I have added all course information and all of the instructors names and backgrounds. This has helped me in being more informed when dealing with potential students

I used the resource notebook years ago and got away from the practice, it's a great tool and a good reminder to gently nudge the memory cells and get back to the practices that made us successful. I again have two, one for the office and one for travel.

My Resource Notebook is a strong guide I refer to all year long. It contains compliance FAQs, policies and procedures, regulations, calendars, timelines, information specific to my location, and more.
