I love the idea of the Resource Notebook as that is how I organize my organizational information. My Resource Notebook currently contains the Agents/Admissions Reps Regulatory Laws/Rules pages, our organization's catalog and addendum, enrollment agreement and Code of Conduct.

The resource notebook is a great idea. There is so much information out there, it is a good idea to have it organized and close at hand. With all the frequent changes and updates to the rules and regulations, I feel that it is essential to have the details readily accessible.

On the first day of training I received a notebook with the institutions rules and regulations. The notebook included a FERPA outline of questions to ask and what not to ask. I discovered there are some questions admissions reps can ask vs. financial reps can ask. I have also placed into my notebook our course catalog and a hard copy of the student FAQ with answers.

We actually had the beginnings of a Resource Notebook so I was able to add to it. Since I'm still pretty new at my institution, I found the additional information to be very helpful!

The resourse notebook has helped me in so many ways. When your unsure of something but don't want to give the wrong information, just turn to your notebook. It's best to keep it as organizied as possible so you dont fumble through it looking for what you need.

We printed out every bit of the training and i have it on my desk now....Thank You

Course Catalog, Admission Reps Regulatory Laws and Rules, Campus Specific Policies.

I learned that we're unable to give prizes out at an open house or event b/c it violates the Admission Reps Regulations.

I used the notebook so far as a means of not only keeping info handy, but as a tool to refresh my knowledge.

I have had a resource notebook in place since I opened in June 2005. I have used it for training purposes, reference, and to also have all of my correspondence with the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. I have all of my catalogs, logs, conversations, renewal information and copies in this book.

Great tool. Comes in handy when your college offers many programs. Keeps the agent organized!

The notebook is important as it's important to not get sloppy and stray from the rules and regulations that are in place.

In my Resource Notebook I plan to put the laws, rules, statutes and forms; enrollment agreements, marketing information, list of who does what within my school, sample paperwork that needs to be completed. I will also include any other literature that may be beneficial to me while presenting information to my prospective students. I also think that by doing this I will be able to learn the information in a quicker and organized fashion as it will all be right at hand. Product knowledge is the key to success and having a resource notebook will definately lead a path to well known product knowledge.

the notebook is a very useful tool, and easy resource to go back to if questions arise. Having the binder w/ all the training material will be very useful for future referance

I think it is a great way to stay current and have all the rules and regulations at your fingertips. Although, the informtion is available online, it is convenient to just reach for the folder and flip through in order to remind oneself of the answer.

This is my one stop resource center for not only myself but for my potential students as well. My notebook includes all of a scheduled starts for each campus, tuition breakdowns for all courses, POC numbers for various departments on campus should a student need to make contact with anyone specifically, course catalogs etc. This is a must for all reps.

I enjoy having a Resource notebook. As many things have now gone "online", I enjoy having a hard copy I can refer to, and usually learn better if I have the material in front of me, than if I am looking at it online.

I think the resource notebook is great. You better believe i will be refering back to it alot. Also i will be adding and updating as need be. I have been on admissions for a year and half and think this is a great tool that i had not thought of.

I think that the idea of having Resource Notebook is great, it is a place that you can store all important facts/info needed and easy to obtain.

I have utilized all of these components to create my rescourse notebook

I think the idea of having a notebook is a great idea. Some of us use an actual notebook to keep each students information, other people use the same principals but keep the info in a different format...such as a digital format. I keep folders on my computer for easy access.
