Yes. Not only does my school have an FAQ sheet (compliance based) that we are to keep on hand during the interview process, we also have frequent training sessions that address student questions that have come up since the last training period. With the help of management, we stay on top of how to answer common questions in a compliant way. Students come up with new questions on a daily basis, especially with all of the current media coverage on changes on proprietary education regulation.

Yes, not only is this information covered during the training process, but we are also often given refresher handouts that cover frequently asked questions that could lead to compliance issues.

Our "FAQ's" are essentially the compliance training, and are the most rigorous training sections we have in all of the onboarding process. In addition, we have an annual "FAQ Test" that must be taken by all Admissions and Financial Aid staff. Failing the test means an automatic withdrawal from "active duty" for remedial training. A second failure to pass the test results in dismissal. Serious stuff. We are trained extensively on how to answer the "usual" tuition, placement and graduation rate, etc. questions, but also students with handicaps, students who were on iep's in High School, etc. It's thorough, and far-reaching. We have reviews of current topics on a weekly basis for all staff who touch on these issues.
