Looking in school catalog and internal meetings with DOA.

I'm fairly new as an agent so I consult with my DOR to make sure I'm acting within accepted standards.

Checking the websites is a very good idea...I honestly would not have ever thought of that prior to this training!!

From my managers, the school catolog, and training manuals.

Through the training of this program and the Ohio State Board of Career Schools and Colleges website at www.scr.ohio.gov

At my institution, we were provided all the rules that regulate our activities during our training. We are continually updated by both the corporate and management levels on a daily to weekly basis. We generally have meetings 3 or 4 times a week and discuss any updates to the rules.

I am learning the ruels that regulate our activities through team meetings with managers and the financial aid department.

The ways I am learning the rules that regulate the activities of my insitution our trainings held by upper management, visiting our website, and reading our catalogs. There is a lot of information online as well to state regulations which is helpful to understand each areas needs.

Thoroughly knowing your state rules, school programs, catalog and guideline information is very important. If you dont know something ask or look it up. Provide valid information only

The greatest resource is our Director of Recruitment, that is there to answer any questions we might have. Our school catalog outlines the rules that regulate our activities and we also have online training that is supportive.

Our course catalog really covers this in great detail. I periodically refer back to the catalog to stay abreast of all of its contents to insure that I "Stay In Compliance". As our institution has changes they will send out addendums and I will add them to the catalog to always stay current. Annually, we will have a National Training Meeting, and this is also a Topic that is always discussed/trained on in great detail.

The Director of Admissions and Campus President of the school where I am employed has done a great job of providing me with an updated catalog and making sure that I familiarize myself with its contents. During the initial training period, we were required to read the catalog and take a test on its contents! Likewise, I was provided with a document outlining how I should present our school's enrollment agreement, making sure I cover its information thoroughly.

I will visit the website often and we have weekly meetings with our directors and they update us on changes we need to be aware of.

We have meetings all the time about rules and regs to make sure everyone is within the regs. Also my director is very good about sitting with us and reminding us about them. She sometimes quizes us.

I have learned various rules in my daily activities. I can learn more about them by checking the oaccs website I can also check for updates. I have also referred to the school catalog and enrollment agreements, I have also asked my supervisor about certain regulations.

Yes, I find reviewing the school catalog periodically keeps our school's enrollment requirements fresh. Also any new regulations are usually brought up for discussion during our periodic admissions meetings.

Our Instituion is constantly updating our admissions department. We have weekly meetings to make sure we follow all regulatory rules.

Our school offers a catalog and training binder that allows us to have access to information whenever needed. We also get updates when something has changed/access to the website provided.

The first and most common way for me was through the initial training when I was hired. Then for the most part, when there is new information it is relayed to me by my Director in a one-on-one setting.

Great idea, Jessica! I am going to do the same..not only will it be a great resource for seasoned admissions reps to review, but a good training resource for new hires.
