Some of the terms used during the admissions process are enrollment agreement, program, accreditation, and registration fee.
Some of the terms and definitions commonly used during the admission process at our institution are enrollment, enrollment agreement, institution, accreditation, licensure, program, and scholarship. I also explain to them what they mean so we are clear and the students feel at ease.
The program of study is very helpful in not only promoting the school, but allowing the prospective student make an informed decision so that they can be successful in their program.
I would say the most commonly used terms used during the admission process are enrollment application, accreditation, and program. The accreditation is always discussed with the student to describe the program. Obviously, the term program is used to explain the various courses to the student during the admissions process. Finally, the enrollment agreement term is always used when walking the student through the application.

Accreditation is one of my favorite words currently. We have a program that is required to be accredited in order for the students to sit for their certification upon completion. I find it fun to explain what it means, and also what it means if they attend a less expensive school that is not accredited.

I have worked in Admissions for a few years and at Lincoln we use several common definitions that decribe our programs and enrollment process.
Certainly, one of the most common definitions we use and that students inquire about include Accreditation, Program, Scholarship, Title IV, Enrollment and Enrollment Agreement.
When a student inquires at our institution I start with a "CPS" (career planning session), where I address the student's needs and goals. In addition, I conduct an overview of the career the student is interested in, as well as the benefits of attending our school. To be considered for acceptance into our school, a student must also complete an "Enrollment Application". We also refer to the results of this process as "activities"
