Dorothy,
Tabs will give you easy access. However you develop your notebook, develop it according to your specifications. After all, you are the user!

I like to organize my paperwork with tablets so that I can return to them easily.
I'm using tabs to stay organized and I highlight important points.
Jenna,
You have created a valuable resource for your position. As you continue to build your notebook you have the ability to rearrange as needed and refine your process
Patty Aronoff
LaToya,
Tracking documents in admissions is part of the essential functions of the department. We need to ensure that all documents are completed in a timely fashion.
Patty Aronoff
Martine,
You have the best of both worlds. When you have paper copies with an electronic file as back up, you have access to the documents in either format.
Patty Aronoff
Laure ,
Sounds like you have a great process in motion. Being organized is part of compliance. You will be able to find the material that you need as you progress through the process.

My enrollment paperwork is organized in the order the Director has mandated. It exists within my 3-ring binder exactly as it is organized within a students file. I find this helps the enrollment process flow more easily because I am so familiar with the order in which the documents are to be presented.
As far as other regulation and marketing documents, they are color coded and alphabetized in a separated section of the binder.
I will need to upgrade the size of my binder soon as I keep adding additional resources.
We use CRM to keep track of all student documents
I use binders with colored tabs and create a digital file on my computer for each student
All the paperwork is organized in a paper folder with color tabs. I also keep all the information about the students on a digital file (excel). I also create a folder on my computer for each student with their scanned signed documents.
I built the notebook and added as I took the courses
Paperwork must be organized and filed in alphabetical order placed in binders. electronic copy must be filed in cascaded alphabetically organized folder for easy handling and processing.
I organize by File and by alphabet with a binder.
