I am reasonably comfortable about the knowledge of
our institution....We are one of the best training facilities in the state authorized for RV Training......
I am a Certified RV Technician, and I have specific knowledge and training for our students,
with hands on learning that they can't receive from distance teaching....
I believe that our hands on approach of learning
is a valuable experience, and provides superior
practical knowledge.....No other RV Certification offers this type of training.....
I am amazed, to find out that there is a very low ratio of RV technicians to actual RV's out there
on the roads, and we receive applicants from all over the country, wanting to enter this field, and
become certified to enter the workplace...
I believe I know my institution pretty well. I know the programs and what all is required for admissions for each program offered. I know the polices and procedures as well for admissions which is very important.
Nadia ,
That's okay! You are off to a great start and will continue to build your knowledge each day that you come to work. Every experience brings a new opportunity.

In all honesty I rate my knowledge a 6/10. I have been with my institution for 1 year and 1 month. However, everyday I learn something new whether its through a prospect or a coworker that training and learning process never stops.
Bryan,
Keep on learning! It's important to continue to learn and expand your knowledge base in order to serve the students.

April,
Career services is an integral part to the student experience. After all, the goal of the students after graduation is to find a position in their career field. Partnering with career services from day one is the best way to achieve that goal.
Patty Aronoff
Nancy,
We all have areas of strength and areas of weakness. But the key to all of the student experiences is being able to draw upon the other staff within the institution.
Patty Aronoff
Enilda,
Questions are a great way to learn. Because product knowledge is the basis for all things in admissions, we need to always be seeking out additional information. And what better way than with a question.
Patty Aronoff
Moises,
All the institutions in Florida bring a new and unique experience to each student. If we were all the same what would be the point. Since we are all different and unique,it provides an excellent opportunity for students to find the right fit for them.
Patty Aronoff
Michele,
You are off to a great start! It is important to have a full understanding of your institution. However, your ability to say I don't know and find out from someone who does is the best ability to have.
Patty Aronoff
Our institution has a very specific program aimed at a niche market. I know the history and primary goals of the organization. I am familiar with the instructors and administrators and their respective jobs. I need to learn more about the financial assistance department and the different types of funding that may be available to prospective students.
I have worked for my school for 2 1/2 years and just recently moved to Florida, so that is the reason I am needing to become licensed. I love working for a school that has an exceptional career services department, a very good in house and online recourses center, and I think that the way that my particular school has gone about marketing has made them as successful as they are today.
I would rate it 85%. Regarding the financial issues and placement services, they are not my strong areas.
As the Director for the Spanish Faculty, I have to be aware of all aspects, from the enrollment process up to the graduation day.
Product knowledge is very VERY important. I will grade my knowledge about my institution as very good. I always try to find ways to learn more every time; honestly I think my co-workers already know that I am a "question machine"
As for institutions, they basically are the same. However, there are differences as to start, programs, tuitions, fees, scholarships offered, and the like. I would rate myself in the B group in terms of my knowledge; knowing that there are always things to learn. Updates going on. New programs, policies being implemented or deleted. An ever evolving creature of sort. And this is a good thing.
I have learned much about my institution. I have read the Institutional Catalog, the student handbook, the faculty handbook and the Instructor handbook. I have also familiarized myself with the staff and I am confident that I work with people that are always willing to help in any situation. I also know that if I do not know or understand something, all I have to do is ask and someone will assist me or help me find the answer.
Ana ,
Exactly! You have to know every aspect of the products in order to serve your students.
Patty Aronoff
MANUEL,
The more you know about your institution, the better you can serve your prospective students. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
Patty Aronoff
Erinn,
Congratulations on your new position! You're off to a great start by learning about the rules and regulations and developing your compliance habits.
Patty Aronoff
Jose,
Lengthy institutional knowledge is an great asset to have. Share your knowledge with others within the institution to continue your institutional growth.
