Hello, I've work in many higher education institution, but my current school admission process is very organized. This institution wants to ensure each student that sit at an admission representative desk is well informed. Staff are well informed about the program that the school offer and the requirement. I,m very knowledgeable about the program that are offered, and services that are available to prospect and current students.

My institution isn’t very big; I have worked in the field and now teach. I have daily contact with all aspects of my institution. I am discovering the staff I work with are always very energetic and happy to answer any questions.

I feel I amat a 7 with my institution.
I am new to my company and although I work with prospectives every day, theres so much to learn. Daily access to information is helping more and more.

Product Knowledge is key, not only to the success of the school, but ultimately for the success of the student. It is important for them to know everything they need to on the front end, in regards to what they are choosing to embarck upon, what requirements of them will be, what additional offerings/tools are available for a student and future graduate to utilize. As an Admissions Representative knowing the product and knowing how to deliver this information in an understandable manner is key to your success in your position and again the success of your school and the student themselves.

AS a Financial Aid Chief I'm in contacted with the head department daily, which keep me up to day.

I learn something new daily and i feel thats how it should be, since the school system is constantly changing and our school is constantly growing.

Ive been working at my institution for 5 years now and I have been able to work on several different areas, grasping a little from each which has made me very confident in my work.

Positive and team focused..

I would say I rate my knowledge pretty good. I like to describe the ins and outs of our programs, what they can expect and hours that will be needed to be a success in our program. The prospective student needs to be aware of how the program works and within reason what the expectations are of them during the term.

Mario,

That is an excellent relationship between admissions and academics. Academics can provide much product knowledge to assist you in speaking with students.

Tanya,
You should be well prepared to apply for accreditation when the proper time comes. Accreditation materials is a lot of paperwork devoting much time and effort in the details.

I am familiar with the program because I speak with the instructors on a daily basis. Instructors at our institute are very accessible and friendly. If I have a question, I am able to ask the same day and have a response for prospective enrolling students.

Having written most of the Catalog and administrative manuals, I know a good bit about my institution. I'm comfortable with the rules, statutes, and regulations. My next big adventure will be deciphering the secret code to obtain accreditation.

Megan,
Congratulations on your new position! Off to a great start with training. Keep on learning and best wishes on your endeavor.

As a very new person in my institution (Day 1) I know a little about it. The programs are very specific and we offer only a few. But as the day progresses and I talk to more staff members and faculty, I am learning much more. I plan on continuing to find out more by discussing with others and doing my online and in-manual research. - Megan

Claudia,

That is what is exciting about our schools. Every day is a new day onto a new adventure.

I am still learning more about our institute every day.

Jonathan,
Our sector in education has a lot of cool things going on. Establish your connections with others in our sector to find out what is going on all over Florida. The state school association is a great place to start.

Schlegel,

My suggestion to you is to learn as much as you can through faculty and students that have experience in the programs. It is one thing to read about the programs on paper but it is definitely more enriching by engaging in conversation with the people involved.

Yvonne,
Check out your classrooms for an exciting opportunity to learn more about your programs. When sitting in on a class you get the student experience and get to know the instructors better.
