I know that I need to reformat my delivery on phone students to get them in for face to face.
I learned that a formated program for admissions helps a lot and feel that the class has help me to put one together. I know the institutions ins and outs since I am a one man operation.

I try to know everything I can and believe in asking questions. I started with this school when there was only 6 employees. I make sure to watch and listen. Student Services and Academics and Admissions go hand in hand. Admissions speaks with and enrolls the student and helps them get their feet wet. Student services takes over from there to make sure the student knows what they are doing and helps them over the hump, academics teaches, watches their grades and helps them along with student services to keep them in school to graduate.

Jose,
History of your institution is more than a story. It tells the student of your development and progress.

Lynn,
Your Student Services and Academics have much to share. Just ask!

Dulce,
Keep on learning!

I rate myself a 9 because everyday I learn something

I thought I knew quit a bit but I learned that it is time to ask more questions from the directors of Student Services and Academics.

Students are required to have a basic understanding of the school's history and mission.

Patricia,
Your enthusiasm shines! Thank you for your post.

Yvonne,
Excellent! Organize your notebook in the best way possible to serve you.

I have been very familiar with my catalog so i was very informed with my institution. However, this course help me better organize my materials.

I am new to the campus but have worked in the private for-profit schools for several yrs so I'm using my past experience to learn what my campus has to offer & to ask questions re: who handles what & where is their office located. No matter how long you work in the industry, you never know everything & there's is always more to learn. My institution offers diplomas & assoc degrees in various programs. We are nationally accredited via ACICS. We have several locations in the southeast region. We offer a variety of student services ie: Career Serv Dept., tutoring, library/resource center, just to name a few. And there is so much more to learn!!!

Jessica,
Having the kknowledge of the education side is truly an asset as an admissions rep. Congratulations!

Maribeth,
Good communication links are essential to keeping up-to-date.

I have been an Admission's Rep now for almost two years. At our campus, we have weekly trainings on all the programs we offer. We also have department meetings whenever a new policy is in effect or is updated. We also use email a lot where I am to ensure all the staff stay updated.

Fortunately, I was an educator here before I became an admissions specialist. That gives me a wealth of knowledge that would otherwise take a lot of time to obtain from this position. I am extremly clear on what our catalog specifies and what a student can expect once enrolled in class.

Everyday I learn more and more about effective ways to turn leads into signed students, but as far as understanding what our institution offers our students, I have had a great foundation to build on in this new role.

Trang,
We all have a part in making our schools better. Keep on learning, operate with integrity, honesty and compliance,

i look up to my insitiution alot and hope that one day it will even be a btter one.

Kevin,
You are a valuable resource to the institution.

David,
