Making sure that potential students understand exactly what our school provides, where our training can or can not take you, and what we expect from students and what they can expect from us is absolutely essential to start off on the right foot.
The institution that I work for has spent countless hours and resources to make sure that the admissions team is well trained and understands what is to be expected of them. We also mock - interview eachother in front of the director to make sure that there is not any misleading information being said as well as interview observations with the director.
My institution has strict guidelines and procedures to ensure that all employees follow the same path to provide the most accurate information for potential students. Plus everything is heavily monitored by our Quality Assurance Staff.
At our school we have instituted a call monitoring program for compliance among all the recruiters. We discuss our calls, what we can do to imptove our conversations with prospective students as well as learn new techniques for integrity discussions.
Our institution requires us to stay withing the regulatory guideline. We have a script that is followed which contains the necessary information so that the potential student can make an informed decision. Our institution also monitors our call for compliance. I have personally been "shopped", so I know compliance is strictly required of the employees.
We stay updated on these areas of importance by regularly discussing with our internal compliance team.
Our institution works with campus and online students in various states so it's vital that we operate with compliance for federal and state regulations.
Our college catalog includes disclosures and specifics for policy adjustments that have been adjusted to fit specific state regulations depending on the state a student resides in. Clear communication that's accessible to both students and staff is the first step towards institution wide compliance and integrity.
We use a script to make sure every rep is asking all questions mandated by compliance. Directors at my college will randomly select recorded and live phone calls to listen to in order to help insure that question out of compliance are not being asked. In addition we have weekly meetings to discuss any new changes with the Department of Education that effect the enrollment process. Other departments have meetings as well so that they can be informed on any accreditation/compliance changes that affect them directly.
My College listens to calls to insure that quality and compliance is being met. In addition the college also requires that we take refresher courses such as this CM 305 course. We also have weekly meetings to discuss any major updates with the DOE that effect enrollment.
Our institution goes above and beyond when it comes to compliance training. We have specific departments that alert us with any changes that need to be made. All of our calls, regardless if they are a complete interview or merely answering potential student's questions, are all monitored.
Our DOA listens in to meetings with potential students and our phone conversations. We are shopped on a regular basis and receive feedback regarding verbage to make sure we are compliant. Even though all interviews are different, the answers to questions are consistant and compliant.
As a DOA, I am continuously monitoring our phone calls and interviews with possible future students. I look for areas for my advisors to improve as well as monitoring compliance.
We have a process that must be followed. Integrity is vital in the education field.
We are also monitored at the school where I work as an Admission's Advisor. We have our home office visit regularly and monitor our meetings. Our direct supervisor also monitors our meetings with potential students and our phone conversations. We are "shopped" regularly without the individual Admissions Advisor's knowledge. We receive feedback regarding not only our verbage to ensure we are compliant, but also for the quality of our meetings. We get to know the student and their goals and also ask them what outstanding questions they may have. Each interview can be different depending upon the individual students we meet, however the answers to their questions are always consistant and compliant. We also role play with each other and ask difficult questions to ensure that we each know/have the same answer. If we do not know an answer, we are expected to have the correct answer to the student/potential student before they leave, or find someone who has the accurate answer, not "make" up an answer.
At our campus we are observed on a regular basis. We get observed on phone call and the interview and enrollment process to ensure we are following all guidelines in a professional way.
Our school consistently holds tranings and refresher courses on the regulations.
Our institution provides ongoing training to Admissions Representatives to insure compliance and integrity in all communication with students. All Representatives are required to address specific issues (accreditation, enrollment requirements, enrollment process including financial aid, etc.) with every student expressing an interest in enrollment. Representatives are also required to ask applicants frequently during the application process if they have any questions or concerns.
Our institution has implemented training programs and conference calls to enforce compliance and integrity. Our calls are also monitored for quality and training purposes.
We have a scpipt to follow to keep us on track and reminders at our meetings of how important it is to stay in business! Hopefully, Integrity comes from within the invididual employees.
Our school conducts meetings and trainings in order to help ensure that we remain in compliance. The director gives us periodic review sessions as well.
