Compliance and Integrity go hand in hand at our campus with the strictest guidelines when working with a student from the interview materials to the management involvement and insight. The continued education and feedback that we receive is the key to the high standards we provide to our students.
We train every day with roll playing and going over script. We makes sure that we going over all rules all time so I know that to not make a mistake. We want to make sure that we speak right when talking on what we offer, accreditation.
My school has implemented phone monitoring automated advisements. The school has more routine phone call reviews with Admissions Advisors and management to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines; as well as moral and ethical obligations.
A specific strategy is training (new employee and on-going) and monitoring phone calls. We are continuously trained to keep current with regulations and through monitoring assist each other to stay within the regulatory boundaries. When questions are raised that we cannot answer, our website has a consumer information link that explains all topics in detail.
My institution currently takes many measures to ensure that institution-wide compliance and integrity occurs. We currently have a compliance specialist at each campus to ensure that every document, disclosure, or any publication that is distributed is up to the standards of the institution, as well as the state in which is located. Also, each department has a director that is in charge of ensuring that every employee, or team, they oversee is up-to-date on all pertinent information regarding state, federal and accreditation regulations. Within the department in which I work, we hold weekly training meetings to ensure that each advisor is up-to-date and compliant with all procedures, programs, and other information since we deal directly with incoming students. It is critical that we remain current on any changing information, practices, or documents to ensure that we are distributing the most relevant and updated information to prospective students, as to not lead them astray or misrepresent the interests of the student, or the institution as a whole. We also have periodic mystery shoppers to make sure that we are in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as the way in which we answer specific questions or concerns raised by the student. Each advisor is different, so the institution wants to ensure that even though advisors may approach a topic or question differently, that the end result is a correct and appropriate response and interaction with the student.
Our Senior Director and Managers are all over us about compliance! We take it very seriously. I appreciate that not only are we protecting our students but also ourselves as responsible Admissions Representatives. I've really come around to wholefully believing in my school and the company due to the trustworthiness of our work ethics and how much focus we DO put on compliance and integrity.
Our company continually trains on compliance and integrity with role plays in weekly training meetings. In addition, all calls are recorded and regular observations are made to insure compliance.
This is all true in our situation as well. I believe it's critical for an Admin. Rep. to know their school's catalog inside and out. We make it a habit to always direct prospective students to our information link which also includes access to our school catalog. We make it a habit to find the thread of compliance that runs through all State, Federal and Title IV rules/regulations, and disclose such on the front end when in the initial conversation with prospective student.
We are very strict when it comes to compliance - we have training all of the time and a presentation that we must follow - there is also a mystery shopper program to identify those that are not being compliant
We have had company wide meetings to discuss this topic and re-enforce guidlines and regulations. We have also broken into individual team meetings.
We conduct a thorough and careful enrollment process- reviewing all documents of which we are proud of their content.
We have policies and procedures in place to insure that all potential students are recieving honest and accurate information. We have an interview process to insure that all information is covered, as well as giving additional links to information that can be researched online. At enrollment, all documents are explained including the enrollment agreement and all disclosures. I am proud to say our campus takes compliance and integrity very seriously.
Training is conducted weekly with compliance and integrity always included in the discussion.
Ongoing training such as this course
We have training about specific areas which speak about compliance. Tutorials, testings, recording of information as part of training, to ensure these guidelines are met.
My school is ultra conservative and has standards that exceed the federal guidelines.
Our institution requires us to adhere to a strict "code of conduct" when it comes to compliance. We have written codes that are not only concise, but clear and explicit.
We have very extensive electronic training on an annual basis, as well as when policies or laws change. It is very detailed, and our company audits records and simulates employee-student interactions in various ways to ensure compliance, by way of training and mock settings.
Our institution requires staff to be aware of all accreditation regulations that are applicable to their role and responsibilities and ensures compliance through policy and documentation. It really is a win-win situation by avoiding bad practices
There have been policies and trainings implemented
