its very importanrt to study the students objectives and futuer ,,, this will increase your ability to control the class room attention and retention

to maintain students at the class ,instructor has to be active and modivate students at all the time

Our administration has taken the time to encourage all of the staff to be a part of the mission statement and the ultimate goal of retention. I have found this to be an asset to the entire organization of our school. I know the were met with some resistance at first but i think the exercise has proven to be a positive one for all, especially the student retention. I'm proud to say it was something I had already been doing with my students. It is just second nature to me. But I did find myself being more involved with students that were not mine when I saw the need. And I realize the importance and impact it had on those students.

This seems to be tough sometimes. I have tried different sytles and some work and some don't. I just need to appy myself more I quest. TEr

Working together is a key factor for success. you can achieve that by having good communication among your staffs and work according to each other needs.

Improving the EQ should be the goal of any educational system. WE are usually concentrated on IQ. We need to change, and se the whole picture of a human being. We as a human being have a hert and a will power beside our mind, and we should foster all together in our educational system.

Show the student the end result of hard work and dedication. Tell the student a story or give a personal example of how you over came an obstacle.

Let's cheer these students on to VICTORY! We may be the only positive individuals in their lives.

I think that most of us have heard that old saying "Do as I say Not as I do" What's up with that? I feel that if we want a student to behave a certain way, then we must lead by example.

Teamwork is vital in the classroom. It helps in maintaining a smooth flow and a positive attitude towards the instructor and students.

Many times students come into our facilities with a dream in mind. Their goal, to be a successful person, yet many times they lack the support system at home or with their families. As instructors, we become their support system. We need to take the time and know each student not just as a student but as an individual.
