Madelyne,
This is great news in that now you will be able to speak better as to how your organization is built.

Kathryn,
Sounds like you are off to a great start in building your notebook. Thank you for sharing its contents.

A Resource Notebook is certainly a great tool to utilize in admissions in order to have all of the pertinent documents from your school all in one place.

The documents that are in my Resource Notebook include, but are not limited to, The Commission for Independent Education Regulations and Statutes as well as our “School Catalog”, “Student Enrollment Agreement”, “Program Outline(s)”, “Course Syllabi(s)”, Miscellaneous Student Forms, and Marketing Materials and Informational Packs.

These documents allow me to convey accurate information about the programs that we offer to the students interested in enrolling in the program. This will enable the students to gain a better understanding of the program and will ultimately allow them to see if this would be a good fit for them.

I was pretty well rehearsed in most areas but I would have to say the area I didnt know a lot about was our organizational chart. It was interesting learing the different positions and duties of our organization.

If the notebook is not current, it has no value. Keeping it up-to-date takes effort.
