I have never worked at a campus that offers hvac and automotive before. I am learning a lot about the programs and their requirements by speaking to the professors, as well as reading the course descriptions and speaking with the students. I am very excited to learn more about these programs!

Reading the catalog, really reading it is a great way to refresh your knowledge!
At first, I thought I new a great deal about the organization. As i began working, I found myself asking many questions, and began learning new information. Shortly, I received a catalog which I looked over and learned a great deal about the organization including programs, financial aid, etc. Through this process I discovered that knowing anything and everything about the organization is vital in the admissions office.

I'm taking this course for a new institution. However, so far I feel very knowledge and comfortable about the information I've received. I also realized that this course was one of the best trainings I have had regardig my job duties as an Admissions Director. The other schools I worked for did not provide this training.

By learning the rules you will be compliant and a better agent. When working through the rules, have your materials along side to understand their meaning. For exampple, Standard 11 covers the catalog and advertising. Have those materials handy and view the corresponding rules that apply.
