I believe my knowledge of my institution is fair, but after taking this course I am looking fiorward to expanding my expertise into cirriculum, professors, career services and even sit in a few classes
I am aware that ITT technical institute began in 1969. The fort lauderdale location opened in september of 1991 offering associate and bachelor of science degrees of study. Itt technical institute focus on hands-on program of study. This is a private institution and enrooled in title IV funding.
I'd say I have very good knowledge of the school where I work. I keep up to date on current events as they relate to my school and the for-profit educational industry as a whole.
It's kind of hard to miss some of it.
I have been with my institution for roughly 8 months. In my time here I have learned a lot about the school, starting with how we came to be, as well as knowledge of our programs and accreditaion. I feel as if I am constantly learning new things about my school, as we have weekly training meetings where we can learn a lot more about different aspects of our jobs.
I'm very happy with the fact that the learning process is constantly upgrading for our staff, so that we can better assist prospective students when they come to us with questions/concerns. I feel that the more I know, the easier it is to give the students the best answer they deserve.
I would rate my knowledge about my institution very good. As a fairly new Admissions representative I am continuing to ask new questions from my DOR/MOR and my fellow representatives. As a new person you always have to go through the training but as long as you continue to look for more information within the people you work with you will always learn something new.
Well I have been with this school for almost four years now and we do product knowlege weekly. they constantly upgrade our catelog so i feel pretty comfortable with the information i convey to students.
Lauren,
Keep on learning and growing!
Laura,
It is about dreams coming true.
Tiffani,
Isn't that exciting!
Christopher,
Having a well-rounded knowledge of your institution will make you a great rep.
Stephen,
You bring an important part of the organizational chart to the table. Resources!
Having an organization chart is great however it is also important to have consistent training so Admission Representatives have practical understanding of the resources each department has to assist students.
Gordon,
They will feel your enthusiasm and appreciate your knowledge.
Dale,
The more you learn about your institution, the better you will become.
Andrew,
Interactive learning...awesome!
Larry,
Sounds like fun! Learning does not have to be all about books and tests.
Brian,
You are very organized and prepared for change.
I believe I know my institution and the policies and procedures very well. I make sure that any new policy that is instituted, I print and place in a reference manual. Also, if there is something I do not know, I make sure to track down the correct party and find out the necessary information.
