The ways I am learning and have learned the various rules and regulations for my activities as an agent and my institution are through the study of the course catalog, study of the enrollment agreements for each program, understanding of the program information and the accredidations that my institution and individual programs may have, sitting with financial aid and having an understanding of the assistance available to students, and asking questions when I do not understand the regulatory rules.

I stay in contact with the director of the school and study the school catalog. The info I gather from this course will be added to the notebook I have already started.

Joshua, I think this is a great approach to learning the regulatory rules. Your approach is very similar to my own. We have various resources available to us through catalogs and handbooks. In addition, we have this training as well as ongoing training on a weekly basis.

There are several ways that I have been learning the rules that regulate my activities and institution. I think the university catalog and student handbook are two great resources to understand the general admissions process, admission policy and procedure, and student admission requirements.

I am currently still learning all of the ways to learn more about the various rules, regulation my institution. OACCS, office memo's, the training manual, and student handbooks are all great resources to find out the information needed.

I have been taking e-learning courses such as this as well as courses through our campus to help me become more knowledgeable about rules and regulations in this industry.

Rules and regulations are available on our employee portal. In addition online training in required by all representatives on such matters.

As a representative i play an intricate part in facilating a level of compliance in the workplace.

Ways that I learn is to look over them alot go over them with co-workers and family members.

What if your supervisor doesn't keep you updated properly? What do you do to make sure you're in compliance in case your manager doesn't inform you of everything?

We use E-campus(online training) to go through all the rules and regulations with the representatives. In addition as regulations are updated emails go out and they are listed on our employee portal.

i have learned the rules by looking through the catalog and the enrollment agreement. Also i turn to my DOA and other campus staff for being updated on new rules and regulations

In this day and age, it requires constant training and learning to put the rules/regulations of the time being into practice

I am learning the various rules that regulate my activities and my institution in a variety of different ways- through working with my other colleagues in our program, my supervisor as well as on the job training.

I have always been aware of the material that is on our enrollment contract as far as cancellation, tuition, refund, etc. Reading the Ohio codes along with the enrollment agreement helps me to understand the reasoning and importance of compliance by our school. I will also regularly check the OACC website. I just marked it as a favorite.

I have taken a course very similar to this on line program. I have been employed at a very different type of school before and am still able to see the rules and regulations that tie them together. I have had the ability to talk with a variety of individuals at both schools in order to understand and assimilate the rules and regulations that we must abide by.

I have been a lot of research as well as asking my supervisors the rules and regulations at my school. I just started and they have been very helpful in answering my questions!

I learn more about rules at my college by reading our literature, listening to some of the staff's conversations, reading our catalogs, and our weekly meetings that the admissions reps, have at my job.

I am in good partnership with my Director at Financial Aid representative. We talk often about the changing regulations and rules that govern our school. It is always refreshing to hear another person's opinion on these topics. We are very strict on compliance here at our school, and we are very proud of that.

All of our admissions agents are encouraged to visit the OACCS web site to get any updates or revisions, we then have a weekly admissions meetings to discuss them and ensure that all agents are up to date.
