After accepting the student, he/she selects a schedule. An enrollment agreement is drafted and signed by both the admissions representative and the student. The registration fee is collected. Additional paperwork is completed such as photo releases, pre-enrollment info and orientation is discussed.
Our College steps to enrollment are very similar. The Admissions Director has a detailed phone conversation with the prospective student before coming to the campus tour so that we can make the best use of the student's time on campus.

We have an admission requirements check list for admissions that helps applicant to bring all documents requirements to the appointment. I just review the check list to see everything is complicate.
We have a check list that we have to follow to complete the enrollment process
In our Institution we use a checklist as well. We also have another one for all the documents included at the welcome package. The students put their initials in each of the items listed and sign the document at the end.
Enrollment agreements are signed by all parties, orientation is conducted and all subsequent paperwork is filed in the students permanent record file. This file contains all applications, financial records, testing results, certificates,etc.

My Institution does the same thing, there is a check list, that is event enclosed in the student admission package.
We use a check list it insure us that we are covering step by step all procedure of enrollment. In may cases when there is a quetion ask we can provide accurate answers.
