I am a rehire, so, so far I haven't come across anything I wasn't aware of. I had a pretty big binder of training material from my previous employment, so I'm keeping my eye out for the changes and updates that have come since my last time. We have a very detailed, excellent internal system here that keeps us very compliant to all the policies and procedures required, so that process parallels this material well.

just about everything I saw as i walked through the program. The campus that i work with is very big on regulations, so i must admit i really cant say there was anything that jumped out to me as something i wasnt familiar with. My directors do a great job of getting the point across of being as ethincal as possible, and if you dont know the answer, ask someone rather than take a guess that may be incorrect and take away from the credibility of our college. We are also currently in the process of going through corporate mandated training so a lot of the things that I read, i had already gone over within the last couple weeks. But it was a nice refresher

As a manager of others in this industry it is important for me to keep track of the training they have taken, specific subjects they have been trained on, as well well as when agent permits need to be renewed. I keep all of that information in my Resource Notebook.

I have added the Agent/Admissions Rep Laws/rules to my already existing Admissions Resource book. Its a great thing to have handy.

I think its a great idea to keep up with information.

I think this will be a great resource that I can continually update with new rules, regulations and new information about our college programs. I have also put in all of the information that we have went over in lesson 1.

I have the my employee handbook, staff addendum, catalog addendum and course catalog, Agent Laws and Rules, my own personal notes about structure and procedures here, enrollment paperwork, directions for our online system and important memos from our directors.

In my Resource Notebook I put all the information that was in the lesson.

I have placed the laws, rules, and statues that I printed out from the link on this course. The career wheels that we present to the students during their appointment that explain the different programs, courses associated with the program and examples of entry-level careers associated with that degree. Also I put copies of the course descriptions with the classes and credit hours. I have placed several important policies and procedures print outs pertaining to ITT such as the Documentation and Disclosure Summary Procedure, Recruitment Financial Aid Procedure, The Importance of Language- Comments to Avoid. Then I placed a the directory list of all the names, titles and phone extenstions of staff and faculty.
The school catalog is over 200 pages so I did leave that out of my resource notebook but I did make sure to write the link down on a peice of paper in case I need to be able to go to the catalog.

I believe that Resource Notebook is a great tool that will keep me organized and also compliant as an admissions representative.

The very first thing that went into my Resource Notebook was our promotional video. It was one of the first pieces of information that was given to me. As a presenter, I go out into the schools to talk about specific subjects (i.e. interview skills, power leaning, active listening) and so only a brief portion of my talk includes an overview of my school. We are to pass out three things: A brochure, a contact card, and then we are to show this video. These three things are definitely at the front of my Resource Notebook.

To answer the second part of your question, I honestly didn't know a lot about the institution (other than its programs) when I started training. Almost everything I've learned is "new" information. However, I have found several things that are fascinating to me and that I enjoy featuring during my talks. One being our culinary facility!

Laws and rules referenced in all modules.

I did not realize it could be revoked

I printed out the laws, rules and statues and am also adding internal rules and procedures that have been established as a result of the laws, rules and statutes. I was aware of the rules and regulations that have been presented.

My resource notebook that was created when I first started my position has actually grown into resource notebook"s". Although I have been doing this for several years I still find I use mine on a frequent basis. I have not only rules and regulations but also past copies of course guides to refer back to.

I have made sure to record the website for the Board, I have also printed out the rules and regulations from the links in the training module. I was interested to know that out of state schools recruiting students from Ohio were not exempt from agent's training. I understood mostly all of the regulations and have been putting them in to practice during my time here.

I Have placed all training materials including a copy of the enrollment agreement into my resource notebook. Some of the training materials included are the Admissions compliance handbook and New program information material, along with a copy of our school catalog.Since this training course, I have learned what is considered an agent.

So far I have added Terms and Definitions and Agents/Admissions Reps Regulatory Laws/Rules.

I discovered that although we are licensed for Ohio and we can enroll students from most states, we cannot enroll students from certain states, like Alabama and Texas for example.

What are the requirements to be able to enroll from those states mentioned and all others for that matter?

The resource is a valuable one stop for materials needed to discuss school with individuals. Fantastic idea! Catalog; enrollment documents; program descriptions!

I have included the Agents regulatory Laws and Rules. One element that I have discovered is that we are not allowed to initiate contact with students who are enrolled in other institutions. Also, I have learned also that if a school is required to close, the agent will also lose their permit.

I find I have many resource notebooks. I have one on compliance, program information, all the forms that we use, the school catalog, policies and procedures, and one with the companies organization chart that includes phone numbers and websites.

I am constantly updating all of my material.

I did not know I needed to renew my permit annually.
