It's a great way to be organized and easy access.

The Resouce Notebook is a great way to keep important information at hand. A good way to organize documentation when needed. It lays out the contents in order and the policies and procedures as though they may change it comes in handy and makes it easy to use. Great resource.

Where do I find out of state Rules and Regulations for other colleges?

Sounds like a great ideal to keep everything together

by reading the notebook it keeps me gounded to were I am always up to date with laws and rules

A RESOURCE NOTEBOOK IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA. I ADDED ONE OF OUR BROCHURES, CATALOG, ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT, WEBSITE ADDRESS TO GET INFO RE: PLACEMENT, GRADUATION RATES, ETC. ALONG WITH RESOURCES TO GET UPDATED INFO FROM THE OHIO.GOV & OACCS. THANK YOU! GREAT IDEA!

I have printed the reps regulatory laws/rules and will continue to add to the notebook

I already had a notebook that I was working from. I am adding more information on state regulations. My notebook contained just school information. I have found this very helpful in keeping up with information and providing the most accurate information to interested students.

I agree Chieu,

With all that we're required to know, a Resource Notebook will come in handy. The fact that we can customize it to include what we need in it, is a plus!

The resource book is a very useful tool, I constantly update mine with all school materials, outcomes to be able to provide my students with accurate information.

I have already included the rules and regs. I feel this book will be a great reference tool to be sure of the customers best interest by helping to maintain compliance. I will be adding a copy of our school catalog and enrollment agreement to this notebook for quick and easy reference. I had a very similar notebook already, so I am revamping it to taylor it to the ever evolving highly regulated field of admissions.

I am new to my school, I have gone through an older Resource Notebook that was left. I have just started adding more and as much information as i can. I think this is a wonderful idea it has helped in my training and has opened up a million more question that I might not have asked until a situation may have occurred. I feel more prepared and confident because I now know where to go for answers in a pinch.

I have included the current Ohio rules in my notebook and also the proposed changes. By including the proposed changes it gives me an idea of what to expect in the future and it will also serve as a reminder to check the website for updates.

I will add our school literature to my notebook as well. That will give me everything I need - quickly - to answer almost any question.

As I build and update my notebook, it will give me more depth as an employee. I will not only understand how we do things and why, but I will also be able to pinpoint when changes were made.

I like the idea of having everything I need in one easily accessible book.

The Resource Notebook is a great tool to have handy. It helps me with the information that I don't have memorized.

Everything was nothing new to me. I do use the note book to store information as well as have information readily available.

Having the notebook available to show parents and prospecting students is a really good benefit that I had not thought of. Great point.

I've added the previous lesson explaining the 3332-1-17 Rule, my hand written notes on the Rule and even some policy information that is specific to my campus. I like the idea of having one go-to binder to reference. Also, because it is my resource notebook, designed by me, I can choose what to highlight or expand on in my personal notes. This is especially helpful since there were a couple things I did not know, for example that the agent permit must be returned to the Board if an agent retires or leaves or that agents are not permited to reach out to students enrolled at other institutions in efforts to have them transfer schools.

The Resource Notebook is a great way to stay current. While much of the information is readily
available online, it is nice to reach for the
Notebook and physically show a prospective student and their parents what they are asking about.

I have downloaded information from the BLS on wages and growth in the occupations we train for.

So far I am glad to find the "Definition of Terms" to add to my notebook. It will be great to have these at my fingertips!! Thanks!

I have always felt that it would be unethical to criticize another school or to discourage students from going to another school once they were enrolled at that school. I didn't know that it was addressed in the regulations.
