All Forms Required When Enrolling

I was wondering exactly what forms are required by the student to enroll in a program of study? Is this usually covered completely in the Enrollment Agreement? I would just like to prepare as much as possible and give the prospective students time to gather these documents and all information they would need.

"Living Document" Resource Notebook?

I think the Resource Notebook is an excellent tool. I look forward to keeping it up to date with changes. Do you know if there is an electronic/online copy to reference when our hard copy is not nearby? It could also be nice to have a "living document" version where we can all colaborate, include helpful notes, examples etc.

Why can't we promote our schools % of graduates?

I think we should be able to sell our school by promoting our % of students who graduate!! We could say we are number 1 so come here and learn with the best.

Default Management

Are there additional items that you or your school have provided that have increased student success?

Using Phone Calls and Emails Effectively

How have the "Do-Not-Call" and "Can-Spam" regulations changed your recruiting methods? What strategies have you employed to appropriately and effectively attract students?

Competitive Integrity

It can be difficult to side-step questions about competitors from students who want to compare and contrast schools. What are some of the best specific strategies to handle this professionally while remaining competitive in this market?

Qualified Students

With the increased pressure on graduation and placement rates, has your institution made any modifications to its program admission requirements or admissions interviews to ensure students are qualified to succeed?

Outside of the specific disclosure regulations, what specifically can admissions representatives do to assist students in making the most informed decisions possible? What do you see are the most important conversations to have with prospective students?

"Never Reinvent The Wheel"

By staying aware off all information as it becomes available is the best way to be the best admissions rep possible. The foundation is laid out for you by the neccessary accrediting agencies,approval Boards,etc. Therefore by just building from the already solid foundation, you should be a ok to effectively do your job; which is changing lives!

"I KNOW MY SCHOOL LIKE THE BACK OF MY HAND!"

When you have a solid understanding about your school from top to bottom, you give yourself a better chance of being able to build the value when you speak to a potential student.

Dotting Your "i's" and crossing your "t's"

Its always a great idea to have a complete understanding of all paperwork. Doing so directly pertains to successfully helping students make an informed decision about changing their lives by furthering their education.

Taking the time to becoming a better agent

Once you complete this training, you should find yourself being able to build from this foundation. Naturally being able to grow your business and become a very successful Agent/Admissions Rep.

CONTINOUS TRAINING

I believe continous training is necessary for Student Reps because it give us the on going knowledge we need to become more helpful with our students. What do you think?

Conflict of Interest

I agree with and appreciate the laws regarding knowing basics about financial aid and other tuition assistance but then referring to a separate department for specifics. Integrity above all includes not selling financial aid/scholarships for enrollment.

Information

Should we limit the exposure we have to information that we are not permitted to share with prospective students? The concern is that information may slip out that could result in disciplinary actions. It is also nice to have as much information as possible, but there is a lot of risk associated with having answers that cannot be shared.
