Just starting

Currently we do not have any publicity in place since we aren't officially open. Yet, we don't really know where to begin or how to reach out. This at least gave an idea of where to start.

How do you deal with an outbound call that you have tried calling at different times on multiple days but never get a response? The ones that really drive me nuts are when we get a voice mail or online inquiry and then when I try to contact them back they never respond.

How often should you continue to follow up with a potential lead?

Sometimes I want to listen

Sometimes I want to listen but I have time constraints that keep me from fully listening. The students I am referring to are the ones that just want to come in and unload about their day. My office is inside the job center where closing the door does not always deter a student even if they can see you are busy. I don't want them to feel I don't care because that's not true. What do you do?
