Enrollment, Enrollment, Enrollment!!!!! If we can use it... We do!!!! The more we say it the better enrollment numbers we have!!!!

Some definitions that are used are application, payment agreement, teaching certificate, and undergradaute degree that has the degree conferral date and the GPA are required for admission into the school.

The information I have placed in my notebook are a printed copy of the Florida Administrative Code Commission Rules,Rule 6E-2.010, F.A.C. Agents, and a copy of the terms and definitions. When it comes to my institution catalog, policies and procedures, these are readily available to me via our website. My institution prefers we access this information via our site in order to stay current with any changes.

When discussing transfer credit, I tell students up to 2 classes can be transferred into our program. The classes must be reviewed by a designated member of our faculty to ensure that those classes match the criteria of the class you're trying to transfer it for.

And being at this time we are still working on becoming accredited, I find i have to explain more to the prospect the definition of a training program. I can wait till we can add accreditation to our vocabulary.

We are a fairly new school still in the process of learning definitions that best defined our admission process. But I can tell you from the questions that I get from the prospects a lot have to do with job placement, and what can the student expect from work force once they have graduated from the school.

About the rules and regulation that I didnt know that needed to be followed, I cant say many. The CIE do a great job of making sure that all regulations are know, and if you did not know them. They are always happy to inform.

In my resource notebook, already placed.
Catalog, enrollment agreement, information on financial aid, schedule, etc..

I never thought to add anything that would regard to advertisement. Now that has been brought to my attention, makes perfect sense. Knowing how a student has learned about your school is valubale knowledege that I over looked before, my eyes are open.

Varity of terms at our institution, but most common would be Accreditation, when referring to our school validity.

I have the following information in my resource notebook:

1. The program outlines for all programs that are offered to students

2. A copy of our course catalog

3. A campus map

4. A copy of the Student Rights and Responsibilities form

5. A copy of the Enrollment Agreement

6. Copies of all additional forms and information that we require a student to look over as they examine our school

I have discovered that I must ensure that all information that I share with a prospective student is consistent and in alignment with the same information taht is provided in print, or through our web sites.

One example would be when we talk about the application process and explain to students that to complete the process they will need to complete their online application, submit their non-refundable application fee, and submit documentation required for their program which could include proof of graduation from a baccalaureate program, a professional credential, and a payment agreement that specifies the financial agreement the student is making with the school.

Most students want to know their enrollment date, expected date of completion, fees involved, etc. Though the refund policy is discussed, I've found that the more serious students show no interest in it, whereas those who are not as dedicated ask more questions related to the refund process.

I have one similar to what is recommended. However, I have now printed a more current copy of the Commission rules which I believe will be helpful.

I maintain one notebook for our catalog and general processes and procedures and separate notebooks for each program we offer because the admissions requirements may vary according to program (different types of required certification). They help me make certain I cover all of the correct requirements with each student I speak with.
