Transferability of Credits

Does the transferability of credits from a Student attending my university to another institution will it always depend or be up to the receiving entity?

Placement Information

As an Admissions Representative, am I required to disclose the placement rate ratio, or is there a particular department that disseminates that Information?

Institutional Branch

If a University is based out of California, but has a branch in the state of Florida, do the Rules and regulations governing the Florida Branch will be both the California ones and the Florida ones? Am I allowed to talk about grants, students' loans during the enrollment agreement signing?

Enrollement Agreement/Catalog-Question

I believe that as an Admissions Representative is important to know all of the information recorded on the Catalog, so that when we are enrolling students we know what exactly what we are talking about. Now my question is this one: In which department do we find the resource notebook?

Module 4 Staying Up to date and Compliant

Module 4 pretty much summarized and reinforced the need for us as Admissions personnel to be compliant and informed. It sought to emphasize the need to have both external and internal communication and information to better enable our delivery to our prospects and future students. Fair Consumer Practices must be adhered to all time. Education is teamwork in action and so the culture of the institution has to be one that embrace this approach. Continued training and attending meetings to update and inform is a major necessity for all admissions personnel

Admissions Representative

As Admissions representing we are the face of the institution. We represent the school, instructors,employees and everything the school has to offer. We are always to be truthful and accountable for our actions therefore required that we always required to pass the Criminal Justice Information Investigation. Ultimately, integrity is everything and without it we have nothing.

Tuition Discounts

Tuition discounts cannot be offered by the Admissions Representative just because they deem it to be appropriate and I certainly agree. As an Admissions Representative we are responsible for representing our institution so we must follow rules and regulations, be compliant and be accountable for our actions.

Understanding Your Institution

To effectively complete our role in admissions understanding our Institutions organizational and operational structure is truly key to our success. The organisation's culture will definitely drive our need to to be aware of policies and procedures. It is true to say that as an admissions personnel we are constantly driven to know our products in order to be frontline ambassadors for our institution. I endorse the importance to know our programs as our job is about disseminating information to future students. Knowledge is power.

Post Grad Job Placement

In our educational area we find it very important to track how many of our graduates are being placed into our field. We also like to get information about job like or dislike 6 months after placement. But we are always interested in hearing other success stories on gathering these statistics.

Speakers, Workshops, etc

I did not see speakers and workshops listed under the student services, but does FAPSC have any rules or regulations regarding this sort of enrichment activity?

Alumni

Some institutions rely heavily on their Alumni during the recruitment process. What are some ways that we can make sure that these Alums are not acting as agents?

U.S High School Diploma Credentials

There are some high school diploma or GED programs that are not acccepted from institute. Therefore I would like know how can I verified a U.S high school diploma or GED program credential?

To be Expel or being terminated

If a student violates any of the rules listed under Rules/Regulations while attending Priority Nursing College, the student can be terminated or dismissed from the program. Should the student’s enrollment be terminated or should the student withdraw for any reason, all refunds will be made according to the following refund schedule: Tuition Reimbursement Scale or Schedule

Students Legal right

Institutional Enrollment Agreements are prohibited from including any clauses that limit or waive students’ rights to initiate or participate in class action lawsuits against said institution. No institution shall enter into any Enrollment Agreement in which the student waives the right to assert against the school or any assignee any claim or defense he or she may have against the school arising under the agreement. Any provisions in an Enrollment Agreement wherein the student agrees to such a waiver shall be rendered void.

Can an institution stream on campus events on their social media websites without the consent of the current student body?

Transparent, Factual Information

What if you are giving the best information you have at the moment, but the statistics have changed. Is there an accepted process to go back and rectify information that you've given a prospective student?

Applicants Past Education

Applicants whose education has in the past been adversely affected by circumstances beyond their control (i.e. disability, ill health, schooling difficulties, family problems etc.). It is therefore likely that their examination record will not properly reflect their ability or potential, and will appear less impressive than those of other applicants

How big is your binder?

There certainly is a lot of information to maintain. I'm trying to gain an understanding about what size binder I will need for my school. We are a small start-up. I would love to learn from other attendees how big are their binders?
