In my Resource Notebook, I have our program guide, Flyers and information for each specfic program as well as state policies and regulations.

I have program information, our admissions code of conduct, the admissions resource guide, marketing material, admissions principles, and a number of other items. I have learned that there is very clear line concerning what you can and cannot discuss as an admissions rep. There is no grey area. We need to make sure that no inaccurate information is ever provided to our students.

What I learned is that you have to have a permit for certain states that you are working with on the schools. It has been very knowledgeable to read and learn the regulations that in place.

Prior to entering the field, my university requires that each representative develop an individual presentation package based upon available marketing collateral prepared by our Marketing Department.

In my collateral package, I have information regarding application, fees, no cost textbooks, no cost applications, and cost/hour for undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs. Additional resources include flyers for several undergrad and graduate programs, especially OSH, FS, and CJ.

Also available is data regarding colleges and universities with articulation agreements, information on the university structure, methodology for utilization of on-line studies, and a list of departmental heads and their extensions.

I have a binder notebook where Im placing all of my supporting documentation by state. The primary thing Ive learned is that the definition of a job means more then it actually says!

I have placed all rules and regulations provided to me in my book. I was not aware that your license had to be renewed every year.

I already have a lot of information in my Resource Notebook including the employee guide specific to my institution, business cards and interviews with people from different departments (Director of Recruitment, FA, Registrar, and other Reps), also training guides such as language do's and don'ts and scripting, as well as course information and laws, rules and regulations. A lot to learn but I hope the notebook helps keep me organized and on top of the game.

I have placed the School Catalog, Policies and Procedures and information based on Accredidation in my resource notebook so far.

I have discovered the level of standard the institution is held to and the severity of consequences if compliance is not taken seriously.

So far, I have the admissions catalogue, a copy of the enrollment agreement, and the Ohio rules and regulationd.

I did not previously know that our license must be renewed annually.

In my Resource Notebook, I have the rules and regulations for each state so that i make sure i stay compliant with each one. I also have an additional place in my notebook that i house any changes that has been made so i can make sure i am giving the potential students the correct updated information.

I enjoy seeing at others have placed in their resource notebooks. I was left in good hands and most of my enrollment forms and relevant information is already in one location.

having worked with another school in the past that was based out of Ohio, most of this information is not new to me, mostly just refreshing my knowledge on this subject matter. However it is great to know that this is a matter that we have ample amounts of information on and can prepare ourselves when it comes toime for renewal.

I have the "Agents/Admissions Reps Regulatory Laws/Rules" in my notebook. I did not realize that a state Agent permit was required of all Admission Reps before starting to talk to prospective students.

Currently, I have added the course catalog, its addendum, the enrollment agreement, and a sample of an admissions/enrollment folder for a student. I also have printed out the various law sections and course materials to add to it as well.

So far there wasn't anything overtly new to me aside from the law about the admissions fee, enrollment fee and/or registration fee only being allowed to total 1/5th of the program cost or $125 which ever was the lesser.

Currently in my Resource Notebook I have the Agents/Admissions Reps Regulatory Laws/Rules and information about my college including: School Catalog, Enrollment Agreement, Policies and Procedures, and Accredidation information.
So far I have discovered that our school is regionally accredited and that the online program has an asynchronous learning environment.

My resource notebook has become very full already. I've printed all available information including the overview and requirements of the agent training program, terms and definitions and regulatory laws/rules. I was lucky to have the school catalog, school enrollment agreement, marketing plans, policies and procedures and org chart already available to me. I also printed and included the log in instructions in my resource notebook!

Well for starter's I've placed Admissions Reps Regulatory laws/Rules &Student enrollment polices/practices.
I have learned teachers arent required to complete agent training reqired by the Ohio Broad.Looking back I should have known that!

I refer to my resource frequently it has become a useful tool. I have made it a habit to place new program information in my notebook.

Out-of state schools that recruit student in Ohio must comply with the agent licensing and training requirements.

I have made a thorough notebook where I saved all the important url's and have store and highlighted various rules and information that will be beneficial to me as an agent.
