Training and Maintaining Current Information

Our team is responsible for knowing a wealth of information on a variety of different programs. We hold training sessions to cover program and compliance information to insure everyone is current on these topics. For resource binders, do you recommend a regular "audit" to confirm that everyone is referencing the same accurate and current information?

Online Resource Notebook

Hello Everyone, How effective do you think it would be to have a resource Notebook online? I normally try to have everything in my PC and even on the go i can access most of my file on Google docs or some other cloud service like that. What do you guys thing about this idea?

Obtaining A Job

I frequently find that the students I meet with about the admissions process are highly interested in the likelihood that they will receive a job upon graduation from their specific program. It is critical that I have the utmost knowledge of these statistics and I am better able to know this by studying our previous graduates, talking with current program directors, and working with the career services department at our university.

Compliance

Besides continuous compliance training, Admissions Representatives can tested every quarter in Product knowledge and admissions compliance. I find it helps keep the Representative aware.

Training beyond the Admissions Department

It is important to engage the other departments with the Admissions Representatives in their initial onboarding and periodically throughout the year. Guest speakers from other departments monthly as part of the admissions training throughout the year.

Having a Degree in Training and Development I appreciate the ongoing training that we receive in Admissions. The training is timely, up-to-date and informative.

It's important that the student understands all aspects of all that is involved with the enrollment. My question is why must institutions dimensions be in the catalog?
