There is orientation and the taking of this course. We work with people who have had the training to be sure new people are complaint

yes we have traning for about 3 weeks and 24 or more houres focuses on traning and compliance.

Our school has a 3 week internal training program. We focus a lot of time on compliance and take an internal compliance test that aligns with the state/federal accreditation regulations governing admission.

We do have an internal triaing program. There is a lot of emphasis on compliance. Our training program is often updated to keep us reminded of the reguations. The majority of our ongoing training is targeted at compliance on all levels.

yep our school does have internal training for reps. We have corporate training and then the in house training

Yes, my school does have an internal training program for new reps. The training relies heavily on the issue of compliance. We are given materials to study, which place an emphasis on compliance.

We have an internal training program that focuses on each step of the enrollment process, as well as familiarizing the new rep with the school. Rules and compliance issues are discussed within each section. IT is nice because it is a constant reminder of how often these subjects come up. In addition, we are made aware of the rules, but also taught how to look for questions and comments that could lead to a situation surrounding a line of questioning that deals with a sensitive topic, or a topic with ssome heavy compliance regulations. Finally, we are taught how to answer/handle such questions and situations.

Yes! I am a new admissions rep and this is far different than the field I was in previously, therefore the "wording" is foreign to me. our School has gone over a bunch of the regulations and accreditations with me throughout my first month and will continue as regulations change. We are trained on our tours to show what we are accredited for as well as when we go through our new admission's book with the potential student. All of my managers have an open door policy so if I have any questions, I feel comfortable asking if I am not sure.

Yes. We have an extensive training program for new admissions representatives. The first two weeks the representative is learning about the company, compliance, shadowing classes, shadowing interviews, the academic catalog, enrollment agreement and other paperwork, and other processes and procedures. They are also meeting the different departments to learn about their functions. The third week they attend training that covers the student phone guide and the student interview.

Yes. A new hire's first 4 weeks are solely dedicated to training and before they can interact with applicants they must successfully complete all phases. A portion of each training module has something to do with compliance but as a whole, I would say roughly 20% of the training is dedicated to compliance.

Janet,

OACCS sponsors in-person training seminars a couple times a year for admissions reps. Check the OACCS web site for more information.

A good portion of the training program at my school is focused on compliance. We are given an extensive packet of information regarding regulations governing admissions, and spend a good portion of time learning each regulation. We are also require to be tested on the material to ensure that we fully understand the information.

We are made aware and given copies of new rules and regulations as they arise but does OACCS have classes that we are allowed to attend outside of online classes? I think discussion amongst other reps would be helpful to gain insight on popular practices.

When you become a new rep here at wyotech you go through a long training process that really spends time on the rules regulations and compliance.

Love it!! This is such a key element of recruiting, but is often times over looked.

Yes we do! Our training programs are focused primarily on the laws/regulations, along with being proactive and ahead of the game...especially in terms of ethical practices.

We do have internal training for new agents and Admissions representatives. They spend several days understanding state/federal and accreditation regulations. In addition, we learn about the student policies and procedures.

Yes! Our schools is outstanding at training their admissions reps in meeting and abiding by state regulations. They spend several days explaining how it will impact the school and you as an individual. It is so important to but the best foot forward for your program

We have a 10 day traning cycle and during these 10 days we learn everything from the bottom up so that we get a good understanding of the school and what the programs are and what our students can do with them upon completion of the programs. We also spend a good amount of time on the laws and regulations that come along with our jobs so that we have a good understanding of what is expected of us.

At my school we go through three weeks of very imformative rep. training
