Can an agent work for two diffrent schools?

Are all staff members of a collaborative office "Agents"?

Our program office is a collaborative one and has staff members that serve in a variety of capacities ... Student Affairs, Operations, Finance, Registrar, Reception ... as well as Admissions. We all try to be available to prospective students to answer general questions about our program, as well as give information regarding our own areas of expertise. Are we ALL considered agents and required to be certified?

Rolling Admissions vs. Application Deadlines

I have worked in Universities with both a set application deadline and with rolling admissions, so no set deadline. There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to both. I was wondering if others had any input on best practices for both options? I have found that Rolling Admissions can be a little more chaotic throughout the year, while having a set application deadline means that things are busy during a window of time, but makes the rest of the year easier due to the ebb and flow.

Life Experience used as Credit

I have worked at an institution where the responsibility of administering credit for life experience was that of the admissions counselor because it was looked at as transfer credit. Now that was more than 10 years ago when the concept was fairly new, has their be a standard measure in which to apply life experience?

Financial Aid Staff

Does the State of Florida require that Financial Aid Staff is on site or can they be located at a different campus?

At What point does an Alumni become an agent?

If an institution were to create an alumni recruitment group where they may be asked to assist in recruitment activities (i.e. host an information session, conduct candidate interviews)would they be classified as an agent?

If a student has been enrolled and sitting in class, and the enrollment agreement changes to reflect a new regulation, is the student required to sign a new agreement?

With the new regulations and compliance issues affecting schools on a regular basis lately, how would this affect students who are currently enrolled who do not meet the new standards or compliance issues. are they "Grandfathered" in?
